So, I was just sitting here watching Food Network (cause you know, everyone want to make food like that) when Barefoot
Contessa came on. Now I’m all for making cakes from scratch and experimenting, but when I saw this cake, I just had to make it!
When I made this recipe I used half the ingredients because I didn’t need a BIG cake. I added a chocolate ganache drizzle over the top of the cake and viola! Meet my masterpiece. Pretty good for a first time of frosting a cake.
Making the chocolate ganache was an experience in itself and I will definitely using it for future recipes.
